Is there anything better than a surprise proposal in Montana?

My cousin Rachael is like a sister to me. So when her boyfriend of 6 years, Ryan, called me with the plan to fly some of her closest girlfriends from California to Montana for a proposal surprise, we were all game! He wanted me to hide in the bushes and document the entire proposal, and I WAS GAME!!

Not only was I beyond excited that the time had finally come for him to propose to her (yep, I am calling Ryan out because we waited FOREVER for this to happen), but it also took place on my birthday. That made it extra special for me! It was honestly one of the most exciting sessions I’ve had the honor to document because it held such a special place in my heart! A handful of our closest friends surprised Rachel as Ryan proposed to her on the dock of a beautiful lake while her parents and best friend were driving up on a boat that was blasting “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. 

To Rachael and Ryan: I love you beyond what words can explain. I am so excited for all of the continued adventures you guys have ahead and I cant wait to see life unfold for the two of you. I am forever in your corner and sending you ALL my love!
